Follow these general rules for Punctuating Direct Quatation :
- Put Quatatioan marks around information that you copy word for word from a source.Do not use Quatatioan marks with paraphrases,summaries,or indirect quatations.
- Nonnally,place commas (and periods) before the first mark and also before the second mark in a pair of quation marks
According to sports illustrated, "Eliminating drug use from olympic sports would be no small challange."

There are two important exeptions :
- If you insert only a few quated word into your own sentence, don't use commas

- When you add an in-text cititation after a quation,put the periiod after the closing parenthesis mark.
3.Capitalize the first word of the quatation as well as the first word of the sentece.
